Everything you need to know before getting started
Why should I hire you?
Our goal is to represent your finance function without the full-time payroll commitment of hiring inhouse. Accounts Conquered cover the fundamentals of an Accounting and Bookkeeping service and more. We not only want to ensure your business is covered from a tax and regulatory compliance point of view, but we want you to have clean, accurate and up to date financial information to base business decisions. We are committed to maximising profit for your company through our thorough precise cost categorising, focused cost reduction plans and profitability reviews.
What all this actually means in reality?
- We can review supplier costs with scrutiny eg telephone, licensing fees, subscriptions. We can evaluate any scope creep on licenses being purchased, negotiate pricing on renewals (eg review alternative providers to keep costs down)
- By keeping purchase invoicing up to date, late payment charges and suspension of services will be reduced/ eradicated. We can ensure the suppliers are sending invoices to the right place and not going to you directly all the time.
- We have experience in reviewing product line profitability. We can review the pricing you have in place, payment terms, and support bad debt recovery.
- We can chase money owed to your business removing you from the process. You no longer need to dread making those awkward calls to chase money owed!
- If you have sales staff or are thinking of hiring, we can also model what a return on investment hiring a team member is or needs to be to ensure margin success.
- We can prepare and maintain sales commission packages that motivate the employee but doesn’t leave the business out of pocket.

How much do we cost?
Every client we work with is a little different, so pricing is tailored to fit your business size, complexity and the type of support you are looking for.
To help set expectations, below are some indicative pricing examples:
- You are a small but ambitious limited company. Your business is growing and you need to spend more time working on the business and not in it. You have 3-5 employees, there are ~150 transactions a month (combination of sales and purchases). You want to hand over bookkeeping, payroll (incl auto enrolment), VAT returns, annual accounts and corporation tax returns. You want to scale up the business, and grow profit. You need more visibility on the numbers rather than just at year end. You would like management accounts monthly and a finance review meeting to target increasing margins and profit growth.
- From €650 per month plus VAT
- You are a sole trader or limited company, turning over ~€100k/€150k revenue annually, you are the only staff member, making 50-100 transactions per month but are growing fast and want to expand operations. You need help keeping up to date with annual financial compliance (annual accounts, corp tax returns, director self-assessment), bookkeeping, VAT returns and payroll. You want to expand and hire 1-2 more staff members later this year. You don’t need management accounts now, but could be something you’re interested in down the line.

What's included in the price?
Each quote is unique to the business, but our services include bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, director self-assessments, financial statements, corporation tax returns, P&L forecasts, annual budgets, cashflow forecasts and management accounts. We go through a live pricing tool together so you can see exactly how much everything costs and you can add or remove services as you like
What payment options do you provide?
Payment is taken at the start of every month by direct debit. This facilitates smooth cashflow with predictable monthly amounts, no huge bills to worry about, and fully automated payments that save you time.
Will I need to use lots of software?
Xero is must have software, so if you aren’t already using that we will get you set up. The Xero discounted subscription is included in our pricing (~€30+VAT/month). Accounts Conquered are a Xero approved partner with preferential pricing, which we pass to you as our client. Xero is a cloud based accounting software, allowing you access to your finances from anywhere. However, we can work with different software so if you are locked into a different subscription, we can use this software instead.
How is this different from competitors?
Our passion is about profit maximisation, not just keeping up to date with financial compliance. Our focus is on ensuring accuracy in the day-to-day finances so you have real time information to base decisions on. We want to create a forward-looking lens on the finances rather than always looking backwards. That’s why we’re different to many traditional Accounting Firms.
What if I’m not ready to commit?
You can start small by handing over the bookkeeping & payroll to us. Our intention is to support your business’ growth; you can choose to add on services once we have demonstrated our support and input into your business performance. You can add or remove services along your business journey.
What if I have issues with Revenue?
We can deal with Revenue on your behalf, removing that stress from you.
Who will submit my tax returns?
Accounts Conquered will ensure all tax returns will be submitted in a timely manner and will ensure the company has no late returns, keeping you on the right side of Revenue.
Who will be responsible for CRO submissions?
Accounts Conquered will ensure the company’s annual return and abridged financial statements are submitted on time in accordance with Companies Act 2014.
Is it awkward to switch accountants?
It’s very straight forward to switch. After you sign up and have let your previous accountant know (we can provide a free email template to help), we will contact them to obtain copies of your historic records and we can take it from there.
Can I cancel any time or is there a contract
There is a contract and direct debit mandate to be signed on set up. This can be cancelled with 30 days notice.
What if my books are a mess?
Don’t worry. We will help you get everything back on track and keep it that way.
How often will you contact me?
We communicate with clients based on business needs and our service package, ensuring you are informed without overwhelming your schedule. We’ll align with your preferences during onboarding; this keeps us proactive while respecting your time.
Can I change services at a later stage?
Of course. We can easily flex the services to support your business as it evolves.
What information do I need to give to you?
To get started smoothly, we’ll need specific information from you to ensure compliance, accurate setup in Xero, and efficient service delivery.
Key Information Needed
- Business basics: Company name, CRO registration number, VAT number (if applicable), business address, and details of directors/beneficial owners.
- Personal verification: Your full name, DOB, contact details, plus ID (passport/driver’s license) and proof of address (utility bill/bank statement).
- Financial records: Prior trial balance, bank statements (last 3-6 months), sales/purchase ledger extracts, and previous tax returns (e.g., Form 11). We can contact your previous accountant for these.
- Access credentials: Xero advisor invite and access to bank feeds
